Community Health Worker “core competencies training” is an interactive program that will build participants’ knowledge and skills related to effective communication, supporting positive behavior change in individuals, families and communities, and more. Parent and student CHW’s will receive a stipend for participating in CHW training and on an ongoing basis during the school year for being involved in continued health and wellness-related work in the schools and with families throughout the community.
